Anti Ragging Awareness Week Campaign

An Anti-Ragging Week was organized by the Anti-Ragging Committee of the college from August 12, 2025, to August 18, 2025, to promote awareness and in still preventive attitudes among students regarding ragging. Various activities were conducted during this week to achieve these objectives.

On August 12, 2025, Dr. Shilpa Revale, a member of the Anti-Ragging Committee, delivered a session on the types of ragging, the punishments associated with it, and detailed information about the anti-ragging website. She explained how and where students could lodge complaints if they experienced ragging. Additionally, short awareness films available on the website were screened.

On August 13, 2025, students collectively created Anti-Ragging Selfie Points and took photographs to raise awareness. All students took an anti-ragging pledge and shared the photos on their WhatsApp statuses to promote the campaign.

On August 14, 2025, the Anti-Ragging Selfie Points were inaugurated by Mr. Vinod Jhamvar, Secretary of the Ayurveda Prasarak Mandal, and Dr. Vinod Patange, the Principal of the college, in the presence of Professor Mrs. Sangita Shinde, Head of the Cultural Department. On the same day, an essay competition was organized, in which students participated enthusiastically. The first prize was won by Mas.Vaibhav Bharati, and the second prize by Mas.Deepak Chaurasia.

On August 16, 2025, a slogan competition was held, with Mas. Vaibhav Bharati emerging as the winner.

On August 18, 2025, a poster-making competition was conducted, where students actively participated by creating posters on the theme of anti-ragging awareness. Prizes were awarded for the first and second positions. The Anti-Ragging Week concluded on August 18, 2025, with the distribution of prizes to the winners.

The entire Anti-Ragging Week was successfully conducted under the guidance of Principal Dr. Vinod Patange and the supervision of N.S.S Program Officer Dr. Shilpa Revale.
